Beacon East is a Matrix accredited Education Business Partnership and Careers Guidance provider working across the East Region; predominantly in Norfolk & Suffolk areas. The company was founded and set up by Mark Bruhin in 2007. Mark’s background prior to starting the business was in education where he was a secondary teacher and senior manager at schools across Cambridgeshire & Suffolk.
Since 2007 the company has broadened it's service offer and successfully delivered numerous local and regional contracts. The company’s mission is to develop 'meaningful relationships between education and business & industry'. This is achieved through a wide range of exciting activities, including student ‘world of work’ experiences, teacher CPD and Careers Guidance services. With every education-business link or careers activity the company aims to ‘Engage, Enthuse and Embed’ creating a long-term legacy rather than just a one-off experience. Beacon East rarely works in isolation and works with a wide range of partners to deliver high quality services.
Beacon East works with a fantastic team of associates who are incredibly passionate about what they do. They are all highly trained and experienced in their field of work. Many not only work, but live in the same area where they support young people. Consequently, they have a real understanding of young peoples' needs and the LMI in that area of Norfolk or Suffolk.
